The standard we work to

Work is planned around your lockout/tagout program, confined-space permits, and NFPA 70E boundaries, with CO2 monitoring and ventilation sized to the space before the first trigger pull.

How the work runs

  1. Step 01

    Line walk and downtime plan

    Assets are prioritized against the actual outage window, with test panels on representative surfaces to confirm pressure and dwell before the shutdown starts.

  2. Step 02

    Ventilation and CO2 monitoring

    CO2 is heavier than air. Monitors and forced ventilation are set for pits, tanks, and low-lying spaces, held to a 5,000 ppm TWA and 30,000 ppm STEL.

  3. Step 03

    In-place blast cleaning

    Adhesive, resin, carbon, release agent, grease, and product buildup come off without disassembly, cooldown, solvents, or grit in the machine.

  4. Step 04

    Restart and record

    No media to collect and no wastewater to capture. Equipment goes back to production immediately with a per-asset record of settings and condition.

Can you clean electrical equipment energized?

We work de-energized under your LOTO program as the default. Where energized work is unavoidable, it happens only inside your NFPA 70E boundary rules with your electrical authority involved.

Is dry ice blasting safe around food production?

The media is food-grade CO2 that sublimates completely, leaving no rinse water and no chemical carryover. It supports HACCP sanitation programs, but it is a cleaning step, not a substitute for your validated sanitizer.

How much downtime should we plan?

Most in-place work is scheduled inside an existing outage. Because there is no disassembly, no rinse, and no dry-down, the cleaning step usually removes hours rather than adding them.
